About Clagstone
Four generations
on this land.
Clagstone Country Estates is one project by Kroetch Property Group, and it exists because Joe Kroetch's family has been looking after this corner of North Idaho for roughly a hundred years. The trade back then was timber. The ethic was: borrow the sun, leave the land better. That ethic is the whole reason this neighborhood exists.
The family trade
Timber, done the patient way.

"My family has been working land like this for a hundred years. When you harvest a tree the right way, you are really harvesting sunlight. You take it carefully, you leave the place better than you found it, and it grows back."
The mill at Harrison
A sawmill, a lake town, a hundred years ago.

Joe today

Same ethic. New century.

On film
A short film, not a commercial.
Roughly three minutes. Best with the volume up. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play; if you would rather watch it there, open it on YouTube.
Come see it
Walk the land with us.
There are no open houses at Clagstone. Every visit is by appointment, so the person walking the property with you knows the parcel, the orientation, and the story of the land before you step out of the truck. Bring boots. Plan on an hour or two. Bring the questions you have not asked anywhere else.
